DREAMS Vs TheWORD

HELLO,

Its awesome to be back after some days off! Let's dig into something worth thinking on...

If there's anything to ignore, we can't ignore the effect night dreams have had on many believers. We know from scriptures that dreams could be tools used in passing across information to man by divinity, even those who don't believe in God can attest to the fact that there are dreams and indeed there are dreams.

I was met up by a lady who had had a dream about herself in a negative scenario, not too long, someone she hadn't met before walked up to her and described a scenario he happens to 'see' her through the eyes of the spirit. Funny, it corresponded with her dreams! The advice, -PRAY!

She explained it all to me and I asked her a simple question, "So what do we do now?". Not knowing how to put it, it was obvious she was screaming 'I came to you for prayers and you're here asking....".
*****
Listen up, prayer is not for the fearful and unstable minded. It just can't achieve much no matter the energy put into it.

I gave her a simple analogy;
"The Devil has an agenda for you, right? You just saw it in a dream
The Lord also has an agenda for you, isn't it?" She answered to the affirmative... "What's God agenda? Have you SEEN it?" She hadn't seen it!

When you are ignorant of Gods plan for you, you become an easy victim to wrong dreams. In fact, you 'self-fulfil' such dreams because you fear it! What you fear, you attract... You can't fear what you don't believe in!

Having helped her to see Gods will for her in the scriptures, I asked "Which of them do you acknowledge? God's promise or the Dream's?". what you acknowledge gets your attention.

How real, wrong dreams present themselves to you is a function of your depth in God's words! A shallowness in Gods words, is a depth in your belief in night mares and their fulfilment. One of them, either the dream or the Word, would always be a reality at the end, but which? That depend on you!

While I desire to pause here, know this...
It is Gods desire we grow beyond operating solely within the confines of dreams. They are fickle and easily manipulated. See what Paul says: "They the are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God" Romans8:14

Sons walk on a higher plane! The reality of the Word!
You counter the reality of the devil designed for you by standing strongly on the Original design for your life! This is the basis of the effectiveness of prayer!

GROW!

LITTLE DAVID

Goliath, armed to the teeth standing 7feets tall roars against the Zionists;
"Send forth your Champion and let's do a duel... If I win, you serve me. If you win, we serve you!"

For 40days this taunting continued.

Goliath, the Champion of Gath had spoken.
.
If I were to take on this big guy, I probably would have to go on some military trainings d it's likes. But here comes a BOY, Unskilled in warfare, body stature malnourished to even sustain a body armour claiming he would defeat this champion.

Without saying a word, he comes running with a sling and a stone to confront the giant Goliath...

His Body Language sent an unspoken message to Goliath, and it was confirmed Goliath received that message when he said "AM I A DOG..."

*****
Sometimes, we overcome challenges by ignoring them rather than matching them wits for wits. Every time you give attention to your challenge, you magnify its strength over you.

Sometimes, you just got to make Almighty Goliath feel like a hopeless street dog by how you face it...

Remember! Even the devil is LIKE a roaring Lion and NOT one... His true identity is revealed already!
.

Listen up... Your challenges won't swallow you!
The GREATER ONE lives in you...

Happy Weekend!

CALL FORTH

Campus life was exciting!
I recall that initial zeal we employed in facing our studies as soon as we got our admission. Like so many, the goal was a first class, nothing less.

Every available tutorial was my abode. This is what we in warri call 'INITIAL GRA GRA'. Overtime, we became normal students. But something, a character, lingered a little longer... And that was the habit of going for what we call 'AWOKO'. Some refer to it as 'TDB' that is Till Day Break... To read through the night in class.

This really wasn't my thing, but I did it all the same... Carrying books that were bigger and higher than my level of study, get to class and spread it all on the desk, and then read one or two pages and then take a 'nap' TILL DAY BREAK!

******
It was easy for me to realize I was deceiving myself badly, but I just didn't stop!

Its not what you think about the usual determination stuff, no! Something psychological was happening.

Colleagues that saw me armed with my books would praise me with manner of praises... Prof! Guru! Doctor Phil! They would use statements that excited one. I wasn't living in a fools paradise by those words, i felt good about them. I appeared humble to the words refuting them, but it had a good feeling!

Something was really happening!

I felt brilliant... After all they said I was a guru!
I felt smart... They said I was a prof!

Hmmm... The feeling was great. I didn't want to disappoint it. I realize I began to read! I don't do long studies, but whenever I do I try to do something effective... The more they called these names, the more I did.

What I was called stirred something in me to become!

*******
You can't call a child a duns and expect brilliance from him!
You can't change a person by ALWAYS revealing his weaknesses to him!
You can't create positives by displaying the pictures of negatives!
.
Men would always take the shape of what they're exposed to frequently.

We are transformed from GLORY TO GLORY because there's something we constantly behold... The WORD! 2Cor3:18

The WORD doesn't tell you to change. The word reveals YOU. It calls you forth from your present state...

I 'change' myself by telling me what I love to be... I don't tell God to make me disciplined, or hard working, or focused. I simply tell myself I AM!

...the I AM lives in me! I AM smart... I AM studious... I AM doing exploits!

You can't tel yourself these and nothing shifts on the inside!

You are BEAUTIFUL!

its Pastor Phil saying;

A blessed week ahead!
